I've alway been doing something creative, with, as a child often told my head was 'in the clouds' this has translated as an adult into fine art, illustration, photography, writing, sculpture, garden design, interior design etc, etc, etc. If it is creative ; I've thought about it or done it, I cannot however add up a column of figures or skydive.

Having said that I have been able to concentrate enough to achieve a FdA (Art and Design),. BA( Hons) in Art History and a Foundation Course in Music. I have taught at Art College, been Artist in Residence a couple of times and run numerous workshops so not a complete numpty!

Regarding my work I have represented a small number of projects and series in this website, but mostly they are concerned with Fine Art and a show few different series although I have also put up some chapters of a book I'm writing with illustrations and a series of photographs. 

 

When I'm painting I usually use a different media or genre for each series of work, I try to find the media and genre that suits each subject.

 

The recurring them though is emotional connection to people and places, The dichotomy of strength and frailty in nature; creation and humanity
